HDR pictures

 

               For this project it took pictures of things with lights on them to make its effect more noticeable. I chose to take a picture of the snow flake, because of the shiny covering on it, so when you darken the rest of the photo that part stands out, the same thing worked with the christmas tree and the green lights.

HDR Photography

HDR is taking pictures using a higher range of dynamics in photos. This will darken the darkest part of the photo and make the brightest part really bright.

To take an HDR photo you must take 3 photos of the same thing at different exposures; one under exposed, one normal exposure, and one over exposed. then you combine the images to make and HDR photo.

Biography

Jan Von Holleben was born in Germany in 1977 and began his career in photography at the age of 13. A few years later he moved to London and furthered his career there. he is now a big photographer and puts lots of his stuff in galleries.

       This project was the most annoying project in the world. finding the pictures and looking for letters around school was fun but as soon as you had to put it on photoshop and put it into a collage it got complicated. I didn't really like this at all.
